NATHAN BURCIAGA

Hello! I’m Nathan, an artist and illustrator from California, who loves to create art that celebrates the natural world.

Since I was a kid I’ve always had a deep appreciation and connection with the outdoors and love to spend my free time hiking, camping, or just making memories with loved ones outside.

Naturally, as I honed my artistic skills and worked through my illustration degree at CSUF, I found myself consistently looking to nature for inspiration. From animal and botanical illustrations to landscape painting and plein air studies, I hope to express my love for the outdoors in every piece I create and inspire others to get outside.

I love to experiment with different methods and mediums, but my favorite way to depict nature is using watercolor. When I’m not using watercolor, I’ll usually work digitally in Photoshop, and in other traditional mediums such as oils, graphite, charcoal, or ink.
